  Uhm.. in which ever way this site is considered serious or parodic, i just got to question it's existance. How to be punk, good question. How do you define punk? Most define it in its physical form and expression. I personally think punk is when you go against all of the society's norms and believe in total freedom from economy, total freedom from higher powers, total freedom. Punk and anarchy have a close association, and anarchy in it's pure form is misunderstood.
  
  Anarchy is thinking beyond the walls. It is the thoughts and beliefs on human beings together without walls, without economy and without stress. What makes anarchy utopic is the chaotic brain of humans. We need something that points us in the right direction where we can keep ourselves from stealing or murdering other people. Behave, with other words. That is the society. It keeps us in order.
  
  Punk is when you, inside the society, go out there and do what you feel like doing. You begin to follow your own ideals, your own perspectives are the highest power. Spray paint some walls, play your music with devotion, tear your clothing apart, showing the society that you dont need expensive clothes, fancy TV, fancy friends, status.... Put it aside.
  
  Make yourself heard is one of the most important thing when media is taking over. People give up on making their voices heard when they all talk so in such a low volume compared to media or politics.
  
  Punk is not dead, what never lived can never die. An idea is eternal, and punk is that kind of idea. If there were rules on how to dress, then how can punk be freedom? "How to be punk", my answer is that there are no way. There are no way to BE punk. You just become punk from living your ideas, and not thinking about consequences from your actions. As long as no one died from your actions, or somebody innocent lost something from it, i think they should be all OK.
  
  I do not consider myself a punkrocker. But i do dress the way i feel like and i think the way i feel like thinking. I have a dream, just like Luther K. Just because a band have a way of dressing, i do not want to deliver their message once again. They did. We all have to deliver OUR messages, use their thoughts and create our own. Thats being punk for real, or thats how i think. Thanks for reading.

  I think that people who write you hate mail can't take a joke and need to lighten up. This site is pretty funny, especially because there really IS no "list" to be a true punk - if you have to TRY to be a real punk, then you're not :-)
